Privacy Policy

Last updated September 20, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how [Company legal name], doing business as AI SEO Score Checker ("we", "us" or "our"), handles personal information when you visit aiseoscorechecker.com or use our tools, accounts and paid plans (together, the "Service"). Our registered address is [Business address]. For privacy questions, write to [email protected].

For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the controller of the personal data described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account data: your name if provided, email address, a hashed password and your plan status.
  • White label settings: logo, company name, brand color, website, business email and phone number you choose to save for branded reports.
  • Tool inputs: the URLs, domains, questions, topics, country and language settings you submit to our tools.
  • Messages: anything you send through the contact form or by email, including attachments.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address: used to enforce daily guest limits, prevent abuse and keep the Service secure.
  • Usage records: which tools you ran, when, and how many runs remain in your allowance.
  • Device and log data: browser type, operating system, referring page and timestamps recorded in standard server logs.
  • Cookies: described in section 8 and in our Cookie Policy.

Information from payment providers

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us a customer identifier, the last four digits and brand of your card, billing country, subscription status and transaction history so we can manage your plan.

3. Reports and the pages we analyze

When you submit a URL, our servers fetch that publicly available page along with related public files such as robots.txt, llms.txt and XML sitemaps. We store the resulting report, including extracted page content, headings, metadata and scores, so it can be shown in your history and opened through its share link.

Anyone who has a report's share link can view that report. Do not share links to reports that you want to keep private. The pages we analyze belong to their owners; we process their public content only to produce the report you requested.

4. How we use information

  • To run the tools you request and display, save and share the results.
  • To create and secure your account and remember your login.
  • To apply guest, free and paid usage limits.
  • To process subscriptions, send receipts and handle refunds or cancellations.
  • To answer support requests and send important service notices.
  • To detect, investigate and block fraud, scraping, automated abuse and security threats.
  • To understand aggregate usage and improve our scoring models and features.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use your submitted content to train third party AI models.

  • Contract: providing the Service and paid plans you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests: securing the Service, enforcing rate limits, preventing abuse and improving features, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent: optional cookies or marketing emails, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Legal obligation: keeping tax and accounting records and responding to lawful requests.

6. Third party services

Some tools send limited data to outside providers so they can return results. Each provider handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy.

  • DataForSEO: receives the domain, country and language you enter in the Ranking Keywords tool.
  • Google PageSpeed Insights: receives the URL being audited when Core Web Vitals checks are enabled.
  • OpenAI, Perplexity and Google Gemini: receive the question or topic you enter in the AI Citation Analyzer, depending on which engines are enabled.
  • Stripe: processes payments and stores card details.
  • Hosting, email and security vendors: store data and deliver messages on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

Avoid entering personal or confidential information into tool fields, since some inputs are forwarded to these providers.

7. When we disclose information

Beyond the service providers listed above, we disclose personal information only when required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or the public, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case the recipient must honor this policy.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, a rate limit identifier that tracks guest allowances, and preference storage for choices such as billing view. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.

9. Data retention

  • Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted or anonymized within 30 days after you close it, unless the law requires longer retention.
  • Saved reports stay in your history until you delete them or close your account. Guest reports may be purged after a period of inactivity.
  • IP based rate limit records are short lived and typically expire within days.
  • Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Support correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after the conversation ends.

10. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, hash passwords, restrict internal access to people who need it and keep software updated. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users and authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

11. Your rights

EEA and UK residents

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of or a portable copy of your personal data. You may also object to or ask us to restrict certain processing and withdraw consent at any time. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you may ask to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected, request deletion or correction, and opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

How to make a request

Email [email protected] or use our contact form. We will verify your identity, usually by confirming control of the account email, and respond within 30 days for GDPR requests or 45 days for CCPA requests, extended where the law allows.

12. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

13. Children

The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information, and we will delete it if we learn that we have.

14. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as the Service evolves. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will email account holders about material changes before they take effect.
